Asbestos Removal Mission Statement

for asbestos removal, supported by detailed site specific
method statements and risk assessments designed to ensure
best practice at all times.
Asbestos Legislation
All projects are managed in accordance with the Control of
Asbestos Regulation (CAR2006), approved codes of practice
and HSE guidance notes.

Collection
From a single bag to removal of a complete building. Waste
to be disposed of in accordance with the hazardous waste
regulation 2005

Garage Dismantling
We can dismantle and remove garden sheds, garages, farm
buildings etc. Waste to be disposed of in accordance with
the hazardous waste regulation 2005
• Asbestos Repairs
/ Encapsulation
Repairs to damaged asbestos with encapsulation products to
suppress fibre release

Environmental Cleaning
Contaminated areas cleaned to a safe standard in accordance
with current legislation

Contamination Removal
Land cleared of asbestos debris and returned to a safe
standard in accordance with current legislation

current legislation and the approved codes of practice –
Work with floor tiles, textured coatings, asbestos cement

with current legislation – Work with asbestos insulation
board (AIB) asbestos lagging, sprayed asbestos etc

Testing
All air testing undertaken – 4 stage air clearance,
re-assurance, background testing, personal monitoring
Site Auditing
Rigorous internal and external auditing by our health and
safety training provider ensure all safety and quality
control procedures are achieved and maintained .
Copies of site audits are available to the client at the
completion of any licensed work.
Our auditing procedure is based on HSG65 Successful Health
and Safety Management – A guide to measuring Health and
Safety Performance, by adopting the principles of this
guidance document, we will continue to develop our Health
and Safety procedures.
Waste Disposal
Contaminated waste is disposed of in accordance with the
Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005. Asbestos waste will be
placed into suitably labelled bags and sealed accordingly.
These bags of waste will be placed into a designated sealed
container or van for disposal. All waste will be transferred
direct to a designated transfer station or landfill site.
